Reproductive surgery

Reproductive surgery is a procedure used to treat certain conditions that may impede a couple's ability to conceive.
At Fertility Care we offer a variety of reproductive surgery options to help our couples achieve their dream of parenthood.

Obstetrics consultation

Monitors the health of the pregnant woman and the health status of the baby to achieve optimal well-being of the mother-fetus pairing, performing a monthly prenatal check-up to ensure that the pregnancy is evolving favorably.
At the beginning of the pregnancy (in the first 5 to 13 weeks), a transvaginal ultrasound is done and with the finding of positive fetal cardiac activity, the gestational age and the probable date of delivery are determined. This serves to rule out pregnancies outside the uterus (ectopic pregnancies), or the presence of twin or multiple pregnancies.
From week 13 and until the end of the pregnancy, control of the evolution of the pregnancy is carried out, and your treating doctor will accompany you and advise you to carry a pregnancy to a happy term.

Gynecology consultation

Patients who come to the Gynecological consultation are evaluated through a physical examination and transvaginal or abdominal ultrasound.
A cytology or Papanicolaou test is performed, which is performed annually in case the patient has not had it done, to detect cervical cancer and other problems, in this way the specialist will rule out any abnormality as well as diagnose pathologies of the ovaries or other pelvic structures, which may affect the health of the woman.

Gamete bank

Cryopreservation or cryopreservation is the process in which gametes (eggs and spermatozoa) and embryos are frozen at very low temperatures -196 °C, which allows us to preserve them indefinitely without suffering any damage and maintaining the initial quality conditions with which that were frozen.
At Fertility Care we have a cryopreservation unit where we perform:

Preservation of female fertility (Cryopreservation – Egg vitrification)
Preservation of male fertility (Cryopreservation- semen freezing)
Donated egg bank
Donated sperm bank
Cryopreservation of embryos obtained after highly complex fertility treatments.
